My mistake
Apparently I was wrong about last post of Route Irish. 'Steve' - ? put me in my place by letting me know that my photo was not of Route Irish, but a tunnel under a road feeding into Route Irish. I never intend to make people think that I am in any more danger than what we are. I don't get my kicks by people worrying about me. I don't want to post anything that is not accurate or that could offend someone, so I have deleted it. I have been straightforward with what my job is here and respect those who have MUCH more dangerous jobs than my own. This blog was intended as a way for me to keep in touch with family, friends, and co-workers. Others obviously may read as well, so I am now going to double check anything I post. James

I still love you Jimmy.
We still love you too! But keep in mind and you can ask J-boob and Megan. I always worry!! I worry when you are in Reno at the firestation!!It is in my genes! I am totally enjoying your blog. Thank you and keep those pictures coming!
Still artic conditions here. However, I did shovel the drive yesterday - 3 more inches of snow - and now my arms are buff!!!!
I don't know who jumped in your shit about the photo but they need to relax. Keep it up.
whoa - i thought you knew the guy, hence my smartass comment.
screw 'em... jay's right - they need to chill out a touch...
Yeah James...you had better not make that mistake again or else I'm dognapping Russell...Bosco...whatever that dog's name is and then allowing Smokey and the Bandit to tear him apart. Wisk Wisk my friend...Thundercats still rule!
CWEBB OUT!
James- Thought you might want to know that I am becoming good pals with Roscoe. We've gone walking (well, WE run, the girls walk) a couple of times at Patagonia, and Roscoe is the man! He's totally in shape and is as good off the leash as I am. (Though we both still have to wear our collars.) I know he misses you, but he's taking good care of Julie.
Yours, Bruce (the dog)
James--Damn, man, I've been writing a book report on this stuff, and you're tellin me it might not be 100% accurate?!? That's gonna cost ya another 6 domestic beers! :) ---Indy
Hey James, domestic beers for Indy, now that fits!!! He's had such a big head after the Colts won, it's hard to live with him at the station. Colts this, Colts that, man, even pigs fly on some days. Have you gotten all the sand out of your teeth yet? Glad to hear you are in a safer zone and I agree, there's enough to worry about, cut a brother a break. Geez, wonder when the last time they made a mistake? Keep up the good work, love to see the blogs. Need anything yet besides and editor? Stay safe, Ginny
To S.F.D. Thanks again for all the phone cards, I found a way to use them like a domestic call instead of international, so the cards end up having something like 250 minutes apiece. I don't have the time or energy to use up all of them myself so I have given out a few to co-workers so they can be put to good use. As for anything else we need......nope not right now. The few things that we can't get have already been sent in triplicate by others. We even get boxes from random people who don't know anyone specific over here. They just wanted to send something to anyone. You can't go in any building without seeing baskets full of snacky treats, soap, toothbrushes, shampoo (still don't need that yet) etc. But thanks for the offer. Hope life is good, please send my regards to Rick for me. See you in a bit. James
Tell Francis -I mean "Steve" if that IS his real namme_- to lighten up!
I still have no clue who 'Steve' is. Just somebody who likes to make sure things are correct I guess.
