Full moon.

I was walking back to my tent after dinner when I noticed the moon was huge, and bright orange. I got my camera, but when I went to take a photo the batteries were dead. By the time I replaced them it was too dark for a good photo. That's the best one I could get. Too bad - so sad, that's all I've got for now. James

Still a cool picture - is that a palm tree in front of the moon?

There was a total eclipse, supposedly visible pretty good from Europe, so you were probably catching part of it! Kool!

The Greens miss ya! We're 1-6 :-(

Hey Jimmy, it's your long lost cousin Megan. Just wanted to tell you that I've decided I will trade you places. You come here and take the CPA for me and I'll go over there. Okay, so your situation is probably a bit worse then mine, but I am not liking life right now! I can't wait to see you at the lake so we can go dancing at Backwater Jack's again!

Are you really in Iraq!!? Because this picture makes me want to vacation there!! Or it could be that anything remotely looking like a palm tree would make me want to visit after moving back to blizzard conditions! Of all the winters we decided not to take a vacation - it definitely was a bad choice on our part!!

Dude...I got a full moon for ya'. I can't figure out how to attach photos though so it'll have to wait 'til you get back. Me and Darin Berry just got back from the "Seattle Firefighter Stairclimb" race...up the stairs of a 70 story building in turn outs on air. It was gnarly. Again, can't figure out how to send some pics. Darin got 23rd and I got 35th in 14:51. 1200 racer/firefighters. Pretty stoked. Burned through a 45 min bottle in that time, bottle was coated in ice from the condensation when I finished. Now I'm tired. It's back to being like 70 around here, probly go dirt biking tomorrow. Drink a near beer in my name. Jake
