Rappelling.

Self portrait of me rappelling off the building next to the aircraft control tower. Only about 50 feet. We might get a chance to rappell off the tower itself. It's about 190 feet from the top. We will see, I may chicken out. At least I managed to not drop the camera. Nice nostrils huh? James

I'm impressed! I think I would have had sweaty hands and would have dropped the camera for sure. And yes, nice nostrils. :) Jenn Potter

Hey I suppose this means you want in on the High Angle Rescue Team! Looking great and very impressed you did not drop the camera.

Saw Julie this weekend at a friends wedding. She is doing fine, but misses you!

Once home we will talk Special Teams...not:) Carole

So, lemme get this straight. You go off to a war, and then decide to spend your free time rappelling? I'm kinda worried about you, buddy. It's crazy weather back here, wildfires burning up houses one week, then snow the next. See ya soon...do you have the days counted down?--Indy

now that I think about it, those could be Tonka trucks behind you (reminds me of a certain Christmas... you know the one, don't you? Uncle Ron, tree bark, etc... I won't embarass you just yet, not as long as you tell me you remember...)

oh yeah, when's your birthday? maybe I should ask Julie...

Yeah Jamie...you're the cutest...remember that one time when we were rappelling from your roof and you slipped and fell on top of me? That was the best! And then Jonny fell on top of us for no reason but to be close...oh man I miss those days...wink wink.

Keep it up jokers and none of you get's a souvenir (spelling?) Don't you realize this place is legendary for top notch do-dads and whatchamacallits? James

spelling, schmelling! it's all Greek (I mean Iraqi) to me! anyway, remember the time I went 'rappelling' off the side of Hug High during Lori's drillteam practice and landed flat on me back? Oh yeah, good times... We didn't have harnesses back in my day and that's the way we liked it! Ok, I'm certain you don't remember, but you were quite the crackhead when you were 8 or 9... I like to think you've evolved since then... spelling notwithstanding. I guess my final message here to everyone is "lay off the pipe, and stay in school!"... so very tired! P.S. If you haven't kept up with "Lost" it's a damn shame. lostabc.com ...you can watch past episodes the day after they air (or is that heir? you're rubbing off on me...)

I hopefully have them all recorded, so Julie and I can watch them when I get home. James
